You are required to make a 4-week rent prepayment at the time of accepting your offer. The advanced rent prepayment is credited towards the first instalment of your rent.

Your rent will be due on a monthly basis.

If you are looking for accommodation for a different length of time than the minimum 6 months, please contact us directly to discuss your needs.

The Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust hold a number of rooms with Sanctuary Students under a nomination process. To apply for accommodation, in the first instance, please contact reception at the Knowledge Spa. The accommodation team can be contacted by emailing rch-tr.Accommodation@nhs.net or by contacting them on 01872 25 6400. Their offices are open Monday to Friday, between 8.30am and 4pm.

Double En-suite

Treat yourself to a little luxury with a double bed, en-suite bathroom and private study space.

Double Standard

Standard rooms are brilliant value and are fully furnished with a double bed and shared bathroom facilities.

Broadband services are provided by Glide - one of the UK's leading providers of Internet services for student accommodation.

The Glide services that are included within your rental price include:

• • Glide Broadband at speeds up to 1Gbps wired connection and up to 300mbps wireless.

• • Glide streaming services (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ etc.) direct to your PC or laptop.
  
  Information about TV Services Troubleshooting

• You can collect your keys from the day your contract starts.
  
  You will be sent an email regarding your arrival giving you directions on how to find us and how to collect your room keys from a key safe if arriving out of office opening hours. Reception is open between 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday.
  
  We do not provide any bedding or crockery so please bring these along with you. Alternatively, there are stores in the area which sell homewares.
  
  

Parking

Limited parking spaces are available to rent from the Royal Cornwall Hospital partners Saba Ltd, please contact them on 01872 272 834 or find out more by visiting RCHT Staff Permits. Saba are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

To cancel your acceptance of our offer you must speak to our on-site team or call us on 0870 600 4777 at least seven days before the start date of your licence. If you cancel your acceptance at least seven days before the start date of your licence you will be entitled to a refund of your reservation fee, but not your administration fee. If you accept an offer within seven days of the start date of your licence the reservation fee is not refundable.

If you do not notify us of your cancellation of your acceptance you will not be entitled to a refund of your reservation fee. If you cancel your acceptance before the start date of your licence any licence fee paid to us will be refunded. If the start date of your licence has passed and you have moved into the room you cannot cancel your acceptance and may be responsible for the payment of the licence fee until the end of your licence.

TV licence

If you are bringing a TV to watch live TV, or if you receive or record live TV programmes on any other device, such as a laptop, you will need a TV Licence. You won’t be covered by the TV license at your family home.

You need a TV license to watch the BBC iPlayer.

Laundry

Treliske now benefits from LaundryView which will make doing your laundry on-site even easier. The system, created by Circuit, allows you to go online and check the availability of washers and dryers in your building as well as see when other washes are about to end. 

To get started with LaundryView, you first need to find your halls.

Circuit also offer laundry top-up cards which allow you to pay for your washing and drying in advance by paying online or using one of the on-site machines. You can then use your card to pay for washing and drying as well as top-up your card straight from your mobile phone using the Circuit app.

Do you provide insurance?

At Sanctuary Students we offer specialist insurance cover for all of our students through Cover4Students.com.

All of our accommodation is covered as Basic Cover.

Basic Cover Explained

Your possessions, desktop and laptop computer equipment are insured for theft, fire, flood, burst pipes, storm, vandalism, explosion and lightning. Cover applies within your accommodation, in any temporary residence and in transit at the beginning and end of each term.
